Triple Earth is an independent record company who, since 1983, has specialised in World Music.

Artists we have recorded include the phenomenal singer and Ethiopian idol, Aster Aweke; ground-breaking UK Asian singer, Najma Akhtar; the World Music chart-topping and Afro-Celt forerunners, Mouth Music; legendary Congolese guitarist Mose ‘Fan Fan’; pioneering Jazz Warrior, Ray Carless; the unique pianist and composer Roland Perrin; the mysterious Nigerian African percussion remix project, Fuji Dub; and Tanzania’s very own future collaborator with Peter Gabriel, the now sadly departed Dr. Hukwe Zawose and Bagamoyo.

Our release of Cheb Khaled’s classic ‘Hada Raykoum’ and Cheb Mami's 'Prince Of Rai' led the way for Algerian Rai music outside the North African community. From Ned Sublette, Lawrence Weiner and the Persuasions, to Sona Diabate and M’Mah Sylla, not forgetting Carmen Gonzalez with Koral y Esmeralda, or Frank Harris and Maria Marquez with Daboa; for the last two decades, Triple Earth and Iain Scott have been deeply implicated – for better or worse – in the world of World Music.
